CRS introduced  pre-stuffed seals and 20mm crimp caps in our 2000 / 01  catalog. We are now reducing their cost, to make them closer in price to separate caps and seals.   Available seals include PTFE / silicone septa (Septa 3 and Septa 2), the low-cost black butyl septum, and the Bellows Seal (called by some companies the "Pharma-Fix" seal). The Bellows Seal is a PTFE-faced chlorobutyl septum: with this design only the Teflon is in contact with the sample, while the soft rubber makes a good seal.

The safety caps are designed to release pressure at about 5 bar (78 psi).
